Not-Just-Recipes features a lot of articles. For example, every month there is a new "DID YOU KNOW" article that you can find right out front on the Home Page. These are short articles, typically about food or a food ingredient that we might also be featuring that particular month.

We also feature special articles like the one we did on "Forgotten Vegetables" - explaining how some once common or exotic veggies fell out of favor for one reason or another but are now making a comeback. You can find all of the "Did You Know" and "Forgotten Vegetables" articles in the Archive.

In this section we want to direct your attention to other articles and information that you might find either amusing, educational or inspirational. We will point you to articles written by our staff and contributing writers and articles that are curious or amusing as well.

At NJR we are great advocates for taking care of the "whole being". While great vegetarian and vegan recipes will provide you with a nutritious life-
style, you need to ensure that all of the other aspects of your life are in balance as well. One aspect of that is your mental well-being. Learn to
relax, destress, enjoy the life you are given and do things to make your life and the lives of those you touch, better. And be good to yourself, knowing
and believing that you deserve it. Allow the "Law of Attraction" work in your life.

Take care of the "outside" of your body too. Excercise and stay fit. Treat
yourself well...in fact, just plain "treat" yourself sometime. Get a massage now and again, or a spa treatment.
