Homemade Crunchy Granola

Make your own granola - store it and use it
whenever you want a quick breakfast or a crunchy snack.

Homemade Crunchy Granola

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of steel-cut or "old fashioned" rolled oats
1/4 cup of "Craisins" (dried cranberries)
3/4 cup of cashew pieces
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut
1/4 cup of dried apples or dried apricots
3 Tbsp. of apple juice concentrate
1 tsp. of clear vanilla extract
1/2 cup of non-fat dry milk

How we make it

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine all
ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Spread a thin layer of the mixture evenly
on a non-stick baking sheet.
Bake at 275 degress for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Check occasionally, being careful not to scorch
the granola.
Allow to cool and store in an air-tight container.
