HOT QUINOA BREAKFAST CEREAL

Amount Measure Ingredient

1 c Quinoa
2 c -- Water
1/2 c Apples- grated or thinly sliced
1/3 c Raisins
1/2 ts Cinnamon
Soy Milk, Milk or cream
Honey or brown sugar
Preparation Method
------------------
Rinse quinoa and add to water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes. Add apples,
raisins and cinnamon; simmer until water is absorbed.
Serve with Soy milk, milk or cream and sweeten to taste with honey or brown sugar.
I love this! I could eat it everyday! I actually use dates instead of the raisins for a variation. I also use fresh almond milk for a vegan or dairy free alternative :)
