Salsa Recipe - Cinco de Minty Salsa

Add a minty twist with this salsa recipe. Takes it to the tropics!



Minty Salsa

It can get pretty hot this time of year! This salsa is perfect for a hot day. It will tease your taste buds with the aromatic, refreshing mint. Serve it up with whole wheat tostados and some sliced avocado!

Cinco De Minty Salsa

Ingredients

1 fresh mango, diced
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 small red onion, minced
2/3 cup fresh mint, finely chopped
The juice of 1 lime
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper or 1
   jalapeno pepper
   seeded and minced.
Salt to taste

How we make it

Mix all ingredients tohether in a medium
to large bowl. Cover and refrigerate at
least 30 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
