Spanikopizza

by Juli
(Savannah GA, USA)

This is like a cross between spanikopita and pizza

3 large handfuls of fresh baby spinach, chopped pretty well
3 Tbsp. half-and-half
1/2 small onion, sauteed (Green onions are nice here too)
1/2 heaping tsp. granulated garlic
Salt

Munster cheese
Pecorino Romano

Pizza crust

Combine spinach, cream, onion, garlic, and salt.

Spread on crust like regular pizza sauce, top with munster and a dusting of Pecorino Romano and bake at 450 until cheese is golden on top.

Thanks Juli! What a great recipe. We love pizza and spanikopita so this is a double treat!

The combination of Muster and Pecorino Romano cheeses are certain to give this dish an exciting, delicious flavor.

As always, we appreciate your recipes very much here at NJR. You keep us in the kitchen working hard to try each one! Thanks again!
