Vegan Thai Wraps

Ingredients

Tortillas
Red leaf lettuce

Sauce:

1/4 c. peanut butter
2 Tbsp soy sauce
juice from 1/2 a lime
chopped garlic to taste
1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar or white vinegar
6 leaves basil, chopped fine
1 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Salad:

1/2 cucumber, chopped
2 cups fresh bean sprouts
1 c shredded carrots
1/2 red onion, sliced thin
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced thin

Method

Whisk all sauce ingredients together until smooth.

Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Top with a red lettuce leaf, a generous drizzle of sauce and salad mix. Add more sauce if desired. Roll up and enjoy.

Dear Anonymous! We are sorry to hear that you had trouble with the Vegan Thai Wraps.

To be honest, we're not certain it was a typo but we will try to contact the person who submitted the recipe and find out. Fortunately this one came from Juli, one of our most prolific contributors. Unfortunately (there's always a "but" isn't there?)I believe Juli has been traveling extensively - we have not heard from her for awhile. We will certainly give it our best shot. Again we are so sorry for any inconvenience.

We want people to enjoy all of our recipes so we want to try to correct the recipe if it is in error. Thanks for calling it to our attention!

Think the soy sauce should be 2 tsp, not 2 T. so not sure if this was a typo? Way too salty!!! Tried to make adjustments but honestly, it ruined it for me.
